Description
Computer processing of digital images of artwork is an emerging and rapidly growing cross-disciplinary activity. The video presents a prototype of a system that can assist art experts in the authenticity assessment of alleged Van Gogh paintings.
The presented system is based on a combination of texton-based texture analysis and t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding.
