Description

The first step to understand new politics is to reflect industrial and mechanical background of old politics, which is supposed to be based on the paradigm of French Revolution and the classical political doctrines that developed in it. Few political revolutions in 20th century have opened mind for new technologies which have been dramatically changing the ways and forms of thinking and doing, the core structure of the political. Mechanicism has become the core structure of common sense since Newton times. It presents the way of thinking and the way of living. The crisis of various forms of living brings also questions about new conceptualization of reality. We briefly describe the problem with mechanicism in political sciences. Mechanicism is not something standing outside of the political science, but it is inherent to it - mechanicism is a dominant consciousness of modern period. We could see that mechanical view on politics in fact denies existence of politics, because politics is not a sensual object, it is not the thing, it is “res publica” but without being “res” according to the mechanical way of thinking. In the circumstances where physics still has a leading role in science, we should legitimize non-mechanical position only through physics. We need a new, scientific concept of reality, to legitimize politics as a scientific phenomena or as real reality. The new concept of politics should be based on the quantism. Quantism leaves a free space for politics as being its own reality and at the same time involving other realities among them also in that of the mechanical. Quantism allows us to denaturalize the political science and the world of politics. The object of political science is the whole political reality, the reality as existed through politics. In absolute terms we could say, that we first have to invent a new language and then find a way to apply that language to the problem at hand. Not to be too radical we need at least a new theory, presumably non-linear, non-mechanical and non-deterministic. And at the same time we need a new political practice for and of that theory, for the reason that we could think about reified political relations on a de-reified way.
