Description

Aleš Dobnikar is primarily acting as a Head of Dept. of International Relations in the Slovenian Ministry of Public Administration.

He is also partly employed as a senior assistant in Dept. of Intelligent Systems at the J. Stefan Institute, the biggest technological institute in Slovenia.

He is also working as an assistant professor in the University of Primorska, covering mainly the strategic management, development of modern systems and the field of information-communication technologies.

In the new Centre for e-Governance Development he is a member of the Supervisory Board as a Slovenian Governmental representative.

He is also a member of many European, international and national bodies and associations and has been leader or member of many international teams.

The B.Sc. and M.Sc. achieved in 1990 and 1993 in Computer Sciences at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, the Ph.D. in 1997 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, all at the University of Ljubljana. Professional work has reflected in many acts, articles, recommendations, standards and books.
