Description

Dr. Alessandro Farinelli is an adjunct professor at University of Verona Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Science, Department of Computer Science, since December 2008. His research interests comprise decentralised optimisation, distributed constraint optimisation and task assignment for Multi-Agent and Multi-Robot systems. He is co-organiser of two workshops focusing on optimisation in Multi-Agent Systems co-located at AAMAS: OPTMAS 2009 and OPTMAS 2010 and co-editor of a JAAMAS special issue in optimisation in Multi-Agent Systems. He published 30 plus peer-reviewed scientific contributions in AI related conferences including AAMAS, IJCAI, AAAI.
