Tremendous project and gathering more and more momentum. The interview of Kostas is excellent. Straight from the heart the passion is clear to see. In the video, Kostas talks about the aquaSmart project,which take advantage of existing data and he explains how it can be used to help aquaculture fish farmers with their production and efficiency. Bottom line is that it will help to increase the profit margin. Aquaculture is one of the biggest food producing sectors providing over 50% of the world’s fish consumption. Global production is forecasted to increase from 45 million tons from the year 2014 to 85 million by 2030, making the aquaculture industry the fastest growing animal food producing sector in the world.
