Description
I am currently workingas a member of the Data Exploration research project and formerly worked in the AutoAdmin project in the Data Management, Exploration and Mining Group at Microsoft Research. I am also a member of the BLEWS project.
I was co-chairing the 1st M3SN Workshop on Modeling, Managing, and Mining of Evolving Social Networks (in conjunction with ICDE 2009). You can find the website here. The 2nd instance of this workshop will be at ICDE 2010 (see http://www.mpi-inf.mpg.de/conferences/m3sn10/).
Before joining Microsoft, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of the Saarland, in the Database Research Group of Prof. Gerhard Weikum.
