Description

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the ECE department in Rice University. I work in the DSP group with Prof. Richard Baraniuk.

My research focus has been in statistics and geometry, applied towards problems in computer vision. I have worked on a range of problems: compressive sensing, multi-view geometry, specular objects, acoustic-video fusion, multi-camera tracking, particle filtering, projective geometry, markerless motion capture, and performance evaluation.

My graduate studies were done at the University of Maryland, under the supervision of Prof. Rama Chellappa. My PhD dissertation was on multi-camera networks, focusing on robust and computationally efficient inference. This revolves around ideas in compressive sensing, particle filtering, multi-view geometry and data fusion.
