English: The Biennial of Industrial Design (known by its Slovene acronym BIO) is a comparative international design exhibition with a tradition of more than forty years; here designers, commissioners, manufacturers, and students from all over the world present their latest achievements. For BIO 22, an international selection committee have chosen products, concepts, and works in product graphics and information design that propose creative and innovative solutions for problems we face in our lives today, solutions that focus on sustainable development and social responsibility and that address the unique needs of different groups of users.

Slovensko: Bienale industrijskega oblikovanja (BIO) je primerjalna mednarodna oblikovalska razstava z več kot štiridesetletno tradicijo, na kateri svoje najnovejše dosežke predstavijo oblikovalci, naročniki, proizvajalci in študenti z vsega sveta. Mednarodna izbirna komisija je za BIO 22 izbrala izdelke, zasnove ter dela s področja produktne grafike in informacijskega oblikovanja, ki ustvarjalno in inovativno rešujejo aktualne probleme današnjega življenja, so usmerjena v trajnostni razvoj in družbeno odgovornost ter zadovoljujejo posebne potrebe različnih skupin uporabnikov.

‘Cradle to Cradle’ for the Third Industrial Revolution / Koncept Od zibelke do zibelke za 3. industrijsko revolucijo


English: At the event, representatives of companies and organizations from Slovenia and abroad presented the principles of concept and examples of good practice from two international projects – “Cradle to Cradle” and SEE – which are supported by the European commission through the INTERREG IVC programme and in which the Government Office for Development and European Affairs and the Museum of Architecture and Design are participating as partners. The moderator of the event was Marjana Dremelj.

Slovensko: Na dogodku so predstavniki podjetij in organizacij iz tujine in Slovenije predstavili načela koncepta in primere dobre prakse dveh mednarodnih projektov, vzpostavitve Mreže Od zibelke do zibelke in SEE – Sharing Experience Europe, ki ju podpira Evropska komisija v okviru programa INTERREG IVC in v katerih kot partnerja sodelujeta Služba Vlade RS za razvoj in evropske zadeve ter Muzej za arhitekturo in oblikovanje. Maoderatoka konference je bila Marjana Dremelj.

Interaction Design Shapes the Development of Information / Relevantnost sporočila je v načinu podajanja informacij


English: The world we live in is flooded with information that is trying to reach its destination. This flood is particularly obvious in the complex and multidimensional digital world. The complexity and multidisciplinary character of interactive media design and user trends and experiences was presented by international speakers August de los Reyes and Ivica Mitrović. A group of experts from Sonce.net used the Trimo inc. case to demonstrate how to design company's online presence from a mass of products, markets, target groups and a needs matrix.

Slovensko: Živimo v poplavi informacij, ki želijo doseči svojega naslovnika. Poplava je posebej izrazita v digitalnem svetu, ki je kompleksen in večdimenzionalen. Kompleksnost in multidisciplinarnost na področju interaktivnega medijskega oblikovanja ter trende in izkušnje uporabnikov sta predstavila predavatelja iz tujine August de los Reyes in Ivica Mitrović. Skupina strokovnjakov iz podjetja Sonce.net pa je na konkretnem primeru Trima d.d. predstavila, kako iz množice informacij, produktov, trgov, ciljnih skupin in matrike potreb oblikovati digitalni nastop podjetja.
