I picked up a yellowed paperback copy of "Understanding Organizations" in an Oxfam charity shop in Glasgow and have gone on to read all of Charles Handy's books and now look for his lectures. His views - yes, they are as familiar as a conversation one would have with a good friend, but as refreshing as a spring breeze and the sun coming up in the morning.
