Description
David Garcia-Soriano received his undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid. After engineering internships at CERN and Google, he joined the Algorithms and Complexity group at CWI Amsterdam, obtaining his PhD from the University of Amsterdam under the supervision of Harry Buhrman. Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher at Yahoo Labs in Barcelona. His research interests include sublinear-time algorithms, learning, approximation algorithms, and large-scale problems in data mining and machine learning.
