Become fluent in English before you teach people to make their own languages.

Comment4 screwyoubob, June 15, 2009 at 8:36 p.m.:

and why exactly should he be fluent in english!? he isnt from a country where england is the main language. Typical arswipe, bob. He tried to not only teach you something...but attempted to learn your language too

Comment5 bobsadick, July 11, 2009 at 3:03 p.m.:

This guy says Uh and Uhm more than teaching. Where exactly is this putting forward how to compile a new language of any sorts. Taking one language for instance english, and you trade out one word for another and keep the same meaning and action or connection with the change. That is not a new language. META programming... really.

Additionally, screwyoubob. If he can not speak fluent English and is attempting to give a language specified and new creation seminar. Don't you think the power point should at least be English? Plus possibly some public speaking classes would help, this guy is either speaking to the pope or he is so nervous he might just pop if touched.

The fact of the matter is that English is a shitty language, spoken by the horde of barbarians that have exported their barbarism, slavery and greed to the rest of the world. If the guy was invited to talk, it was because he is an expert. English is not the pinnacle of intellectual achievement, you know, it is a poor and simplistic tongue, any other language is by far more interesting and poetic than this jargon. On the other hand, maybe he is so busy developing his programs that he does not have time for this stupid jargon of yours, he has more important things to do than pleasing you!!!

Apart from the fact that there are no 'shitty' languages, English has become so prevalent not just because of historical Imperialism. The main genetic pool of North Americans is Dutch, but yet still the English language dominated the country. It is the richest language on Earth, and has the largest vocabulary of any language. English music is the most popular all over the world and although some governments have tried to supress it, constantly people prefer to hear their lyrics in English even if they don't understand it.

Grammatical structure in English is not as strict and due to the structure of much of the language, it is easier for non natives to speak and can easily be understood even if spoken by someone with little or no knowledge. English is a very expressive language and due to the multicultural nature and openess of English cultures foreign words can easily be added to vocabulary and quickly become recognised and accepted. Also there is on academy restricting growth of vocabulary as exists in more conservative languages like Spanish, French & Italian.

High quality English Poetry, Song & Literature is far more numerous than from any other country, including the USA. Cultural freedoms have always been more accepted in England than any other country hence why so many creations come from the UK including from natives of other countries who moved to the UK to escape persecution particularly from the Catholic Church.

English is based on an equal distribution of German, Latin, & French. It is in essence a mixture of the 3 most important languages in History and world trade, hence easy for anyone from any of these cultures to learn.

Spanish also spread throughout many great populations until the collapse of the Spanish Empire brought about by the selfish greed of the Catholic Church who were driving the Empire to rob so much gold, silver & resources that eventually they lost their value through flooding the mamrkets and depreciated the value of the assets of the Spanish Empire allowing them to be overtaken by the British.

Oh yeah,,, and the fact that we've got such 'shitty' weather means our citizens are more likely to be at home writing books, songs & poetry or inventing things rather than being outside enjoying the sun. Look how many English people are desperate to move to the Mediterranean, we might have the best language, best music, & best literature, but our weather is appalling lol.

I've lived abroad, speak 3 languages, most of my friends are foreign and I'm very open minded. I don't like to class one country as better than another & the same for languages. You've all got things to be proud of. Here in England we haven't got much to be proud of, but our music and literature. So watch what you're saying when you try to insult our language, in our lanuage, on a website based in our language. If you don't like it fair enough, each to their own, but fuck off and view a site in your own language and leave us be.

Barbarians? I usually reserve that word to describe fascist dicators like Mussolini & his friends, or the Catholic Pedo Cult. George Bush would definately fit that title too & personally I'd probably include Maggie Thatcher.

Hey look,, I found a list of Barbarians online, look at them,, how evil they all are!!
