Description

I am a fourth-year graduate student in the theory of computation group at CSAIL, MIT where I am advised by Prof. David Karger. At various times, I have been an intern at Microsoft Research, Redmond working with Dr. Kamal Jain (summer 2010) and Dr. Thomas Moscibroda (summer 2008), an intern at Search Labs, Microsoft Research, Silicon Valley working with Dr. Sreenivas Gollapudi (summer 2009), a researcher at Bell Labs Research, Bangalore (2006-2007), a master's student in computer science working with Prof. Ramesh Hariharan at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore (2004-2006), and an undergraduate in computer science in Jadavpur University, Kolkata (2000-2004). I spent my childhood in the tranquil city of Durgapur, where I went to St. Xavier's School. For the last two years of high school, I went to St. Xavier's College in the bustling metropolis of Kolkata.
