CEO of MagnaView, obtained a PhD from Tilburg University in 1993. From 1985 until 1996, van der Linden was active in research and development, amongst other at the Max Planck Instituut Nijmegen and at the Universities of Nijmegen, Tilburg and Amsterdam. At Amsterdam University, he was responsible for various international cooperation projects, partly funded by the European Union, amongst others with Stanford University and Moscow University. From 1996 until 2003 van der Linden acted as a self-employed IT-consultant, working for publishers, legal professional and educational organizations, often in cooperation with leading IT-organizations such as Ernst & Young, Atos Origin, and Cap Gemini. In 2003, van der Linden started MagnaView, where he is responsible for strategy, marketing and sales.
