Description

Ph. D. in Physics at University of Bologna. From 1989 to 1998 has studied nonlinear dynamical systems with applications to single particle beam dynamics in accelerators. Since 1998 at CERN in the Accelerator Technology Department, he followed the field quality in the main dipoles and quadrupoles of the LHC. Since 2008 he leads the section of magnet design, analysis and engineering in the superconductors, magnet and cryostat group.
