Description
Florian Kleedorfer studied computer science at the Vienna University of Technology. He has been working at Studio Smart Agent Technologies since March 2005 in the position of Researcher/Senior Developer. His research interests include machine learning, text/web mining, information extraction, semantic Web and linked data.
He was a leading member of the project teams for Clouds of Music, SEMPRE and of the R&D project with tripwolf.com. Prior to his work at Studio SAT, he had been freelancing as a Java EE software developer, mainly in projects with newspaper websites (Kleine Zeitung, Vecernji List). During his machine learning studies, he implemented the string kernel for the SMO classifier of the Weka machine learning framework.
