My PhD in Bioinformatics was with the Department of Computing at Imperial College, on estimation of gene interactions using information theoretic functionals.

Prior to that, I completed an MSc degree in Advanced Computing also from the Department of Computing at Imperial. I obtained my BSc in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece.

My current focus of research is to investigate techniques for reverse engineering of regulatory networks via integration of data from different sources - gene expression, protein interaction, metabolic data.

Furthermore, I am interested in assessing the robustness of the reconstruction methods and the visualization of complex biological networks
