Description

Haiping Lu received the B.Eng. and M.Eng degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2008.

Currently, he is a Scientist in the Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. Before joining A*STAR, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto. His current research interests include statistical pattern recognition, machine learning, multilinear algebra, tensor object processing, and data mining.
