Description

Ichak Adizes is the founder of the Adizes Institute and creator of the proprietary methodology for managing change that bears his name. Adizes Institute is a leading consulting firm with offices worldwide ranked by Executive Excellence among the top 10 organizations for leadership development. The Adizes Program for leading organizations to Prime performance has been used successfully worldwide by organizations ranging from start-ups and not-for-profits to Fortune 100 companies.

Dr Adizes consults to business and political leaders throughout the world on managing change without destructive conflict. Executive Excellence ranked Dr Adizes 27th on the 2007/8 List of the Top 100 Leadership Consultants. Dr Adizes lectures in four languages and has spoken in more than fifty countries. His work and writing have been featured in leading journals and newspapers, including: Inc. Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, The New York Times, and the London Financial Times. He is the author of ten books that have been translated into 32 languages and published in 50 editions. One of his books, Managing Corporate Lifecycles (1999), a revised and expanded edition of Corporate LifeCycles: How Organizations Grow and Die and What to Do About It was selected as one of the 10 Best Business Books by The Library Journal.

Awarded his PhD by Columbia University, Dr Adizes has held appointments as Visiting Professor at Hebrew University (Jerusalem), Tel Aviv University, Stanford University, and Columbia University NY and served in a tenured position at the John E Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, where among other achievements he established the Management of the Arts MBA program, the first in the world.

Dr Ichak Adizes has been granted four Doctor Honoris Causa (Honorable Doctorate), the last one from the IEDC - Bled School of Management in December 2007. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Management, Dean of the Adizes Graduate School for the Study of Leadership and Change, and the Academic Advisor to IBS, the Graduate School of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy.
