27th International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML), Haifa 2010
ICML is the leading international machine learning conference, attracting annually some 500 participants from all over the world. ICML is supported by the International Machine Learning Society (IMLS).
More about the conference at ICML 2010
Workshop on Machine Learning Open SourceThe main goal of this workshop is to bring the main practitioners in the area of machine learning open source software together in order to initiate processes which will help to further improve the development of this area. In particular, we have to move beyond a mere collection of more or less unrelated software projects and provide a common foundation to stimulate cooperation and interoperability between different projects. An important step in this direction will be a common data exchange format such that different methods can exchange their results more easily. | ||||
Workshop on Learning in Non-(geo)metric SpacesThe aim of this workshop is to consolidate research efforts in this area, and to provide an informal discussion forum for researchers and practitioners interested in this important yet diverse subject. The discussion will revolve around two main themes, which basically correspond to the two fundamental questions that arise when abandoning the realm of vectorial, feature-based representations, namely:

Where are rest of the talks? Why is there only workshops?
I think only the invited talks at ICML2010 were recorded by IBM Research at Haifa. It seems the sessions at the main conference, as well as the tutorials, were not recorded due to budget concerns. Some of the workshops were recorded due to the arrangement of their organizers, I guess.
does record conference or tutorials need a lot of money? I don't think so.
I don't know why but the conference sessions, tutorials and invited talks were not covered. Only some of the (joint ICML/COLT) workshops were filmed
I wish we can access more conference sessions....
Where are the tutorials? This is really frustrating...
@Rocky Yes, recording by videolectures.net is very expensive.
Sounds interesting. Hopefully, there is a playback of the conference session.
