I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Lugano. My research interests are Multimedia Information Retrieval and Federated Search.

I obtained Diploma of Higher Education at the Saint-Petersburg State University, Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics.

I was a member of the Information Management Research Group and participated in the Content-Based Image Retrieval project as a graduate researcher.

At the same time I worked at Saint-Petersburg Branch of Motorola, Home & Network Mobility Department as software engineer.

Being an undergraduate student I was employed by Protei R&D Center as database administrator and web-application developer.
