Description
When we speak of youth participation in politics, one tends to imagine activism within diverse types of organizations, associations or movements. Political participation is in fact a complex phenomenon which takes many forms. Amongst these types of manifestations, questioning, researching and writing is a way of being active in political spheres. Thus, the academic production of political science students is a topic worth reflecting upon. As the Latin American representative of Politikon (IAPSS’s academic journal), I have noted at times a certain lack of interest for producing academic material. In this presentation I will engage in questioning why and how academic production in our discipline is important. Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
