Description

Jerrianne Hayslett is a court-media consultant who promotes responsible journalism, judicial transparency and an informed society. She focuses on improving public access to courts and court information, fostering greater communication between courts and the media, enhancing courts' ability to provide accurate information to the media and the public, promoting a positive image of the judiciary, developing outreach programs, managing high-profile and sensational cases, and training court spokespersons to be effective and credible.

Mrs. Hayslett has worked with numerous courts and court officials in the United States and abroad, including Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Indonesia. She is a former journalist, was spokesperson and media liaison for the Los Angeles, California, court system, and serves as faculty for the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Courts and Media in the National Judicial College at the University of Nevada, Reno.
