Description
Jesús Cerquides is a Tenured Researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA) of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). He is also part-time associate professor at University of Barcelona. He is an active researcher in the areas of probabilistic graphical models and optimization in multi-agent systems. He has published 40 plus peer-reviewed scientific contributions in AI related conferences including AAMAS, IJCAI, AAAI. He has served on the programme committe of conference such as ECML or AAMAS and workshops such as AMEC, GTDT or OPTMAS. He keeps a tight collabortion with the next Einstein iniative to promote science in Africa, by regularly teaching at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).
