Description

Jon Witten is a partner in the law firm of Daley and Witten, LLC. He specializes in land use planning, land use law and land use litigation. He has worked with cities, towns and American Indian Tribes throughout the country, assisting each to guide and manage growth and development in accordance with assimilative capacity principles. He has also worked extensively with the U.S. EPA’s Office of Water for whom he conducted hundreds of training programs on techniques for protecting ground water, drinking water and coastal waters from degradation. He has a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Cornell University and a juris doctor from Suffolk University Law School. He is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners and is an adjunct professor at the Boston College Law School where he teaches land use planning law and American Indian Law.
