Description
Juan A. Rodriguez-Aguilar is a Tenured Researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA) of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). His research interests comprise auctions and multi-agent resource allocation, decentralised optimisation, and optimisation and task assignment for Multi-Agent systems. He is co-organiser of two workshops focusing on optimisation in Multi-Agent Systems co-located at AAMAS: OPTMAS 2009 and OPTMAS 2010, and co-editor of a JAAMAS special issue in optimisation in Multi-Agent Systems. He has published a significant number of peer-reviewed scientific contributions in AI related conferences including AAMAS, IJCAI, AAAI. He regularly acts as PC member of these conferences. He has been teaching the “Agent-mediated Electronic Commerce” of the European Agent Systems Summer School for several editions.
