Description

The Physical Review family of journals has as its core mission to serve the physics community by providing high quality publishing venues for the best physics research, be that in its specialized topical journals or in its broad-scope highly selective ones. In a changing publishing landscape, Physical Review aims at remaining the go-to place for the dissemination of the latest results in physics. Physical Review X (PRX), its young age notwithstanding, it is already regarded as one of the topmost journals in physics with high visibility and a broad interdisciplinary readership. This presentation gives an overview of the Physical Review family of journals and address PRX’s specific features. Some of the aspects of the review process and of the interplay between authors, referees and editors will be also discussed
