There are two things I didn't get
1- in the last experiment, why didn't the antenna receive the signal when the bar was perpendicular to the direction of oscillation.
2- in the experiment before the last one, why didn't the wave pass when the metal bars where parallel to the direction of polarization.

Professor Sir,

At the end of the lecture, you have shown one brain teaser experiment and asked the students to think on that and to get the correct answer. I am a public viewer outside the classroom. I tried my best to get the answer, but could not yet. Kindly explain and show us the answer. If you have already explained and given the answer, kindly show me the reference sir. It is teasing me like anything.
