Description
Mitja Veber received the Bachelor degree and the M.S. degree in
electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering,
Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2000 and 2003. He continued his work in industry
where his research interests were in the control of fuel level in
underground fuel tanks and development of a system for mobile phone
payment. From 2004 he has been working in the Laboratory of Robotics
and Biomedical Engineering. In 2007 he defended his doctor thesis
Measuring, modelling and validation of kinematics of multifingered
grasping. His research interest is the kinematics of grasping. His work
is focused on investigation of motion planning strategy of human
fingers while performing an object manipulation with fingertips.
