Addressing an issue that he deems pivotal to the world's future, Annan advocated values-based management and urged corporations to uphold their obligations to citizens and the global community. He praised initiatives that have advanced values-based management, most notably the United Nation's Global Compact, in which several MIT Sloan professors play key roles.
