Description

Multimodal interfaces are becoming essential for the next generation of conversational, collaborative, and mobile device solutions. Until now, however, their development has been hampered by the lack of a standards-based means for authoring them -- i.e. for their programming model. In addition to the programming model, the underlying technologies used by these applications such as synchronization and modality fusion techniques are still at an early stage of development.
