Description

The Institute of Biophysics Carlos Chagas Filho is dedicated to teaching, research, extension and technological development in the field of Biological and Medical Sciences activities. Since its inception, the IBCCF seeks to be an institution of recognized excellence in generating knowledge for teaching and research in the life sciences. This recognition has been demonstrated especially by the number of participants in competitive national research funding programs, as well as the main forums for discussion and resolution of political science faculty in the country, beyond international programs. The IBCCF undertakes a systematic process of accreditation of its laboratories, which constitutes a paradigm of institutional assessment, essential to meet the social role of education and research systems.
