Description

Integrative studies merging life cycle, morphological and molecular data unravel phylogenetic patterns of Cnidaria Medusozoa, including time of origin, major evolutionary trends and patterns of diversification. Major taxonomical consequences of this updated view of cnidarian evolution have demonstrated a concerted evolution in the deep phylogeny, but incongruence in the recent diversification of the group.
