Description

What does it take to create an infinitely adaptable courseware that creates optimal learning pathways for each student? Such courseware needs to have a number of unique properties including the courseware content that is defined parametrically to enable full curriculum-space exploration, a method to optimize pathways through the curriculum based on previous learning data, an approach that optimizes both learner mastery and engagement, a way to optimize the entire learning ecosystem including finding optimal realtime teacher and parent interventions, as well as best next step in student learning process. In this talk I will describe our approach to enabling an infinitely adaptable curriculum that has such properties. I will also point to some promising early outcomes.
