Description

I joined the Information Science Department at UALR as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2009. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the School of Computing and Informatics, Arizona State University in August, 2009. I received my Bachelors in Technology in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology in May 2003.

Research Interests

1. Social Computing, Knowledge extraction in Social Media & Web 2.0, Modeling and evaluation of phenomena like Influence, Trust, Familiar Strangers, Collective Wisdom, and Community Discovery;
2. Data Mining and Machine Learning; and
3. Semantic Web Mining.
