Pedro Meseguer has been working on constraint reasoning and heuristic search for a number of years. He co-organized (jointly with Javier Larrosa) the Constraint Programming and Logic Programming Conferences in 2005, and the Summer School on Constraints in 2007. In the last years, he has been working on distributed constraint satisfaction and optimization. He has been involved in many Program Commitees of AI conferences, he is Associate Editor of JAIR and ECCAI fellow. He has given several tutorials (in particular, two in IJCAI 1993 and 2005).
