Po sanjah astronomov iz 18. stoletja nam je moderna doba prinesla še eno od navdušujočih odkritij - nove planetne sisteme okoli oddaljenih zvezd. Vedno nova odkritja nastajajo s podporo zanimivih metod, preprostih in hkrati osupljivih v svojih detajlih in natančnosti. Tehnologija pa je postavila izziv odkrivanja novih planetov v doseg amaterske opreme.
