I am a PhD student in the Information Management Group at the School of Computer Science, The University of Manchester. My research area is the Semantic Web, in particular explanation for OWL ontologies. I'm currently exploring justifications, running experiments on ontologies, and preparing my end of year report. Apart from my research area, I get quite excited about all sorts of (CS related) topics, such as linguistics and HCI.

I am a student coordinator for WiSET (Women in Science, Engineering and Technology), a group at the EPS faculty that organises careers events for female students. I also run the Girl Geek Afternoon Tea sessions, monthly workshops for women of all ages who are interested in technology.
