Odnos vodstva do zaposlenih je še eden od navznoter usmerjenih odnosov modela 8+1, ki jih je za uspeh na trgu in inovativni preboj potrebno upoštevati in negovati. Razvija se skozi štiri evolucijske faze poslovnega okolja: delovno okolje, učeče okolje, misleče okolje in ozaveščeno okolje. V svojem razvoju so vse naštete faze sistematično prešli tudi v Trimu, nedvomno enem najuspešnejših slovenskih podjetij.
