I am from Vietnam. I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney, Australia, in Dec. 2000. I then worked for Ericsson in Vietnam for a short period of time before starting my PhD studies in the National University of Singapore in 2001. My PhD thesis is "Cross-layer Adaptive Scheduling and Transmission Strategies for Energy-constrained Wireless Networks" and my thesis supervisor was Dr. Mehul Motani. I completed my PhD in Aug. 2005.
Since Oct. 2005, I have been a research fellow at the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore (currently with Networking Protocols Department).
