I completely respect Mr. Ibelings, but it is disappointing to watch western historians discovering that culture actually already exists in this part of Europe. The peoples of former Yugoslavia united to resist the attempts of germanization and hungarisation so that foreigners wouldn't write our books. That time is gone and now we see a western historian getting all the glory. Its happening all the time and its not something to be proud of. Of course Mr. Ibelings only follows his instincts.
