Description
My current research interest is the use of lightweight, low-semantic and heuristic methods for the Semantic Web and the Web of Data. I'm also very interested in the collaborative development of (structured) concent for knowledge management and social media in medicin.
I received my PhD from Professor Studer's group at the AIFB with a work about the verification and validation of knowledge based systems - a topic I worked on for Project Halo.
During my time at FZI I also worked at a number of other public and private funded project, doing work in the areas of automatic classification, named entity recognition, semantic data mining, recommender systems, semantic search, eLearning and semantic information integration.
Before coming to FZI I studied computer science and psychology in Berlin and Massachusetts. During my studies I worked at the ABC research group in Berlin and co-founded Germany's first internet volunteer agency.
