Description

Vincent C. Mueller wrote his PhD on the realism debates in contemporary philosophy ("Realism and Reference") and edited a collection of papers by Hilary Putnam on the subject. He has published a number of articles connected to these issues and to the philosophy of computing. He co-edited several bibliographies and lexica. Mueller also works as a computer programmer and runs a web site (http://www.typos.de). Dr. Müller is the coordinator of the "2nd European Network for the Advancement of Artificial Cognitive Systems, Interaction and Robotics" (EUCogII). EUCogII is funded by the European Commission under the 7th Research Framework Programme: 1.908.337 €; Feb. 2009 - Jan. 2012, FP7-ICT-EUCogII-231281. http://www.eucognition.org At ACT, he is pretty much responsible for things philosophical, has organized the colloquium "Philosophy on the Hill", as well as the "Mountaineering Club" and the "Borjan Tanevski Memorial Fund".
