Description

Virginijus Kundrotas is president of the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA), Vice-president of the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) Committee member, International Advisor to Emerald Group Publishing Limited (UK), Member of the Editorial Board of the Baltic Journal of Management, and Chairman of the International Experts Commission on the evaluation of study programs in economics and business administration at Latvian universities and institutions of higher education.

Dr Kundrotas was a founding President of ISM University of Management and Economics, Lithuania, the first private university in the country, from 1999 till July 2008. He developed this institution from a Business Training Centre, where he was a Founding Managing Director from 1995 till 1999.

Dr Kundrotas has written 17 scientific publications and reports, published nationally and internationally, and is the author of the textbook Business ethics (1999, 2002 and 2006).

His area of academic interest is Business Ethics and Leadership. His research over the past five years has focused on the integration theory and practical experiences for executive education and training in the field of Business Administration and Management, as well as on contemporary managers’ needs for training in Lithuania.
