Description
Vladislav Vyshemirsky is a Research Assistant in the Bioinformatics Research Centre, University of Glasgow. He is working on the "Bayesian System Identification for Biological Pathway Modelling" project funded by Microsoft Research within "Modelling and Predicting in Biology and Earth Sciences 2006" programme. Prior to this, he spent 3 years working on the "BPS: A Software Tool for the Simulation and Analysis of Biochemical Networks" project funded by the Department of Trade and Industry at the University of Glasgow. Earlier, he spent 5 years working in a company founded by Motorola Inc. in an R&D project dedicated to logical analysis and model checking of software requirements specifications. Vladislav has a masters degree in computing science and a bachelors degree in applied mathematics from Kiev National University in Kiev, Ukraine. He has recently submitted his PhD thesis "Probabilistic Reasoning and Inference for Systems Biology", which will be available here in the final version.
