Prof. Dr. Wil Foppen is currently Professor in Strategic Leadership and Associate Dean of Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. Wil Foppen served at Board and Executive Committee level in such international organisations as the Association of MBAs, EQUIS and EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and AACSB International. Prof. Foppen chaired several Peer Review Committees, evaluating and accrediting international business schools elsewhere. He has written (and edited) several books on such issues as Topsports (1972), Dutch Politics (1973, 1974), Statistics (1975), Higher Education Systems and Policy (1989, 1991), Administrative reforms in Local Government (1991, 1992), Knowledge Management and Organisational Learning (1996), Management Learning (1998), Knowledge Leadership (2000) , Leadership: Desire and Seduction (in Dutch, 2004) and The Deception of Functionality and Rationality (in Dutch, 2005).
