This is the first semester in a two-semester introductory course focused on current theories of structure and mechanism in organic chemistry, their historical development, and their basis in experimental observation. The course is open to freshmen with excellent preparation in chemistry and physics, and it aims to develop both taste for original science and intellectual skills necessary for creative research.

Happened onto this site & am having a ball! First chemistry lecture I've had since Vanderbilt 1960. VERY novel approach to freshman chemistry.
But I do miss smelling the aldehydes & ketones.
Is it just me or are the pages for exams not working?

@Jennifer - you can`t see the pages for exams, because the links were pointing on Yale`s webpage. They removed those, so the links don`t work anymore. In order to avoid confusion we just removed them also on our side.
