Zvezdana Bajc was born on 9 January 1953 in Novo mesto. Having finished the grammar school she graduated, in 1977, from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, external trade branch, and was granted the title of Univ. Dipl. Economist. She started working with Krka in 1977, first in the Economics Division and in 1979 she moved to the Investment Services. At the end of 1980, she temporarily left the company and spent six years teaching mathematics and organisation science at the Secondary Technical and Health Care School in Novo mesto. In 1986 she returned to Krka and joined the Economic Planning Division. Since 1999 she has been the Director of Economics and Information Processing. Her term-in-office as Management Board member started on 1 April 2005. The Supervisory Board of the company appointed her again, at the meeting held on 29 July 2009, as a member of the Management Board for a six-year term-in-office starting on 1 January 2010.
