I am a PhD. student at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences where I work with Prof. Todd Zickler as part of the Graphics, Vision and Interaction group. My research interests are in the fields of Computer Vision and Image Processing. My work largely focuses on using tools from statistics and machine learning in modeling and extracting structure and meaning from images for problems in computational photography.

I graduated in 2006 from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras with a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Communication Systems. There I worked with Dr. A.N. Rajagopalan on super-resolution and restoration of face images. I also spent time during my undergraduate days playing around with electronics - amongst other things, I was involved in the development of the Rural ATM and the low-cost data card (for an NGO called AID).
