Description

Chris Watkins worked at Philips Research Laboratories, Redhill, from 1985 to 1990, at the Adaptive Systems Group at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1995, and for three fund management companies in the intervening periods. He was appointed a lecturer in computer science at Royal Holloway in 1997. His research interests are in machine learning, particularly reinforcement learning, mathematical finance, and kernel methods.
