Description

Dr. David Lewis has 22 years R&D experience in both academia and industry. He has over 120 peer-reviewed publications areas of integrated service and knowledge management and service interoperability in several application domains. He currently leads research on the interoperability of language technology, content management and localisation systems for Centre for Next Generation Localisation. He is co-chair of the Multilingual Web – Language Technology (MLW-LT) working group at the W3C which is developing ITS2.0, a set of content standard tags for the language services industry. He is co-chair of recent workshops on the Multilingual Semantic Web, MultilingualWeb-Linked Open Data W3C workshop, and the FEISGILTT interoperability workshop - a neutral forum for standards harmonisation co-located with Localization World.
